Day 1: Arrival in Madrid
Arrival at the capital of Spain, Madrid airport, at the end of the afternoon - Group welcome by our tour guide - Coach - Transfer to the city - Check in at a 3*** or 4**** hotel - Aperitif and Welcome dinner at a restaurant near hotel - Overnight stay

Day 2: Madrid - Bodega Designation of Origin Wine de Madrid with lunch
 Breakfast - Morning, tour around the city. Discovery of the capital of Spain with a sightseeing tour to the most tourist corners such as the Spain Square and its 2 skyscrapers from the 1950s, the Gran Via, the Plaza Mayor, the Puerta del Sol or the Cibeles Square. Wheels up - Depart to visit a Bodega within the wine growing region of Madrid. This designation of origin is made up of 13.000 hectares laid out in a semicircle in the south of Madrid - Typical lunch with a variety of first courses and the kid. 130 Km - Return to Madrid - Dinner at leisure - Overnight stay

Day 3: The Prado Museum - Burgos with dinner on the Tapa route - 245 Km
Breakfast - Morning, visit to the "Museo del Prado" (with guide), one of the most prestigious in the world. It contains the main pieces from the royal collection. The Spanish school distinguishes itself with paintings by Goya, El Greco and Velasquez - Lunch at leisure - Afternoon, wheels up and depart for Burgos - Check in at a 3*** or 4**** hotel - Dinner on the "Tapa route". Visit 4 or 5 bars to taste Spanish tapas together with wine, beer, soft drinks or water. On entry ask for your drink and receive the tapa offered by the bar (you can choose something extra if you wish) and on to the next bar. A little taste of Spanish spirit - Overnight stay

Day 4: Bodega Arlanza - Santo Domingo de Silos - Burgos walk
Breaksfast - Wheels up - Depart for a day trip - Morning visit to the Arlanza cellars situated in Villalmanzo, recently built and situated in the heart of the "Ribera d'Arlanza". It has a capacity of 600,000 liters in stainless steel vats and the wine storehouses are fitted out with modern equipment for the elaboration of designation of Origin Arlanza wines. Discovery of all the premises with 2 wines tasting and appetizers. Continue through Villa Ducal de Lerma, dating from the 12th century, views from the Collegiate and from the Ducal Palace. Wheels up and depart for Santo Domingo de Silos to visit the Cistercian monastery, a remarkable Spanish Christian monument. Visit to its jewel, its Roman cloisters and its legendary hundred year old cypress (planted in 1882, measures more than 25 meters high) - Lunch at leisure - Afternoon, return to Burgos. With a local guide, visit to the city, stopping stage on Saint James' way to Compostela, often presented as an arrogant city, proud of its past. Visit to theCathedral, one of the jewels of Spain’s Gothic art - 170 Km - Return to the hotel - Dinner at leisure - Overnight stay

Day 5: Burgos - Bodegas Designation of Origin Rioja alta - Haro - Logroño - 140 Km
Breakfast - Wheels up - Depart from the hotel towards Haro. Visit to the Bodega R López Heredia, founded in 1877. It is one of the historical cellars of the Rioja and it is once again an authentic family cellar. Wine tasting of traditional elaboration designation of origin of the Rioja Alta. Visit to the Wine Museum, the interpretation center of Rioja’s wine. Carry on to Logroño, the capital of the province of La Rioja - Lunch at leisure - Check in at a 3*** or 4**** hotel - Free time for afternoon in Logroño with the possibility of a free walk around the old parts where you will find the Redonda church, the old Town Hall and the typical street with wine and tapas bars- Dinner at leisure - Overnight stay

Day 6: Navarrete - Sto Domingo de La Calzada - Bodega Designation of Origin Rioja Alavesa - Lapuebla and Laguardia
Breakfast - Wheels up - Depart for a day trip - Morning: Visit to the small town of Navarrete which preserves a few renaissance and baroque houses. Navarrete was a stage on the Way of Saint James. The pilgrims found refuge in the hospital San Juan de Acre. Then on to Santo Domingo de la Calzada with its Cathedral. Continue with a visit to the Bodega Marques de Riscal situated in Elciego, region that forms part of the Wine route of La Rioja Alvaesa. Discovery of all the premises with white and red wine tasting - Lunch at leisure - Afternoon: wheels up and depart for the visit to La Puebla de Labarca. This town has some properties which date to the Renaissance as well as a baroque style palace and the 16th century church of Asuncion. Then on to a visit to Santa Maria de los Reyes. 120 Km - Return to the hotel - Dinner at leisure - Overnight stay

Day 7: Logroño - Zaragoza - Huesca - 250 Km
Breakfast - Wheels up - Depart from the hotel towards Huesca - Visit with a local guide to Zaragoza to the richest of historical heritage followed by a visit to the Basilica of Our Lady of Pilar where we can find the well-known statue of the Patron Saint of Spain - Typical Aragonese lunch with "migas, huevos rotos and ternasco" (baby lamb)- Continue to the road to the town of Huesca, the capital of High Aragon. This thousand years old town shows us traces of different artistic periods and styles - Check in at a 3*** or 4**** hotel - Dinner at leisure - Overnight stay

Day 8: Huesca - Alquézar - Bodegas Designation of Origin Somontano - The oil culture in Les Borges Blanques - Barcelone - 310 Km
Breakfast - Wheels up - Depart for a day trip to visit the village of Alquézar, capital of the region of the "Canyons" declared historical artistic monument. The sites are the Plaza Mayor, the outside of the Collegiate, the ruins of the castle and the walls, the medieval style houses and streets. Sightseeing tour over the impressive breach in the gorge of the river Ver. During the excursion, there will be a tasting at a Bodega in the region of Somontano, situated at the feet of the foothills of the Pyrenees. Studies have ascertained that this was a perfect place for the growing of vines. Continue through Catalonia with a stop at Les Borges Blanques to visit an oil theme park. This village forms part of the county of Les Garrigues, the biggest olive growing area in the county - Regional lunch where the virgin extra olive oil is the base of this cuisine- Route to Barcelona - Check in at a 3*** or 4**** hotel - Dinner at leisure - Overnight stay

Day 9: Montserrat - Bodegas of Cava Codorniu and Designation of Origin Penedés wine
Breakfast - Morning trip to Montserrat. Visit to the jagged Mount which stretches up to 1238 meters, religious center of Catalonia. The Royal Basilica and the statue of the Black Virgin "La Moreneta" patron saint of Catalonia (12th century Romanesque sculpture in polychrome wood). Visit to Bodega Codorniu with a tasting of cava, a high quality sparkling wine made on the ground and under the ground (champagne type) - Lunch at leisure - Afternoon: Depart for Vilafranca del Penedés, capital of the Alt Penedés and traditional wine center. Visit to the historical centre and views of the towns' modernist houses. Then visit to the Bodega Torres (Designation of Origin Penedés). Penedés is a great wine growing region with equipped cellars and practicing the most modern methods. Day 10: Day out in Barcelona
Breakfast -All day in Barcelona with a local guide: Plaza Catalunya and discovery of the Gothic quarter, the oldest inhabited part of Barcelona which has preserved its medieval charm. Visit to the Cathedral (free visit), dedicated to Santa Eulalia. Views. Walk on the Ramblas where the locals stroll, down to Barcelona's harbor - Typical Catalan lunch with "escalibada, parillada de carn, patates al caliu" and “music” - Afternoon: visit to the Sagrada Familia then free time in Barcelona - Dinner at leisure - Overnight stay
